BEING EFFECTIVE MATTERS
Animal Equality is an effective altruist organisation. Our campaigns and programmes are designed to ensure your generous donations are being used to ensure the protection of the largest number of animals as possible.
With large corporations hiding the truth from their consumers about what really goes on in the farming industry, these funds are strategically used to inform the public about the harrowing realities of what takes place inside factory farms and slaughterhouses.
Being a charity, we rely solely on the funding of our supporters, granting bodies, and major donors to financially support our work and enable us to continue making a positive change for animals. We carefully allocate these funds to spread the word about our charitable aims, campaigns and to secure the vital support that we need to save and impact animals.

People-power is at the heart of all that we do. We couldn’t spare farmed animals from suffering without our dedicated and passionate team who work tirelessly every day. This funding ensures that our team has the necessary resources, technology, and tools to work with and ensure that we advocate as effectively as possible for animals.
With Animal Equality offices in eight different countries, we utilise these funds to make positive changes for animals far and wide through impactful international campaigns, investigations and internal support structures.
This money allows us to investigate the animal agriculture industry in order to expose the harsh realities that farmed animals face and to encourage consumers to reduce or eliminate animal products from their diet.
We use these funds to liaise with politicians and law enforcement to hold animal abusers accountable for their crimes, and to instigate meaningful legislative changes that better protect animals trapped in the animal agriculture system.
Animal Equality is a data-driven organisation that values the generosity of our donors.
As a part of our commitment to transparency and efficacy, we regularly measure the impact of our programs and report on our progress.
