Thirty years ago, the UK Government was first advised to introduce species-specific slaughter laws for farmed fish. These animals suffer and feel pain, yet decades on, they still don't have the most basic legal protections in place. That advice was repeated in 2014, and again in 2023, when the Animal Welfare Committee's scientific advisors recommended clear, species-specific legal protections for farmed fish at the point of slaughter. The Government still hasn't acted, and farmed fish are left paying the ultimate price. Take action now! Email your MP and urge them to contact Farming Minister Stephen Morgan to secure legal protections for farmed fish.

Marriott International runs over 9,300 hotels in 144 countries, as one of the largest hotel giants in the world. In 2018, it made a promise: that the hens behind its eggs would no longer be confined to cages, anywhere in its global operations, by 2025. That deadline has passed. Marriott broke its word, and millions of hens are still crammed into cages too small to spread their wings because of it.
