MARRIOTT: End cages now!
MARRIOTT PROMISED. IT’S TIME TO DELIVER.
Marriott International pledged to eliminate cages from its global egg supply chain by the end of 2025. So far, it has failed to deliver.
Whilst we advocate for plant-based alternatives, we must not forget animals still trapped in the system. This single action would protect millions of hens continuing to suffer in extreme confinement.
Animal Equality is part of a global movement demanding accountability.

GLOBAL PROTESTS, UNITED VOICES
From London to New York, São Paulo and Jakarta, people are taking to the streets to hold Marriott accountable. Week after week, protests continue outside Marriott hotels and corporate offices, showing the company that the world is watching.
These actions send a clear message: Marriott cannot delay justice for animals. Until Marriott takes clear action, the pressure will not stop.
CAGED FOR EGGS: WHAT THEY DON’T SHOW YOU
Hens in battery cages are subjected to a lifetime of extreme suffering. These cages are so controversial that the UK has banned them entirely, although cruel ‘enriched’ cages are still permissible by law.
Battery cages are crammed wire cages that allow hens less space than an A4 sheet of paper. They’re unable to walk, stretch their wings, or engage in natural behaviours likes nesting or dust-bathing.
This confinement causes injuries such as feather loss, sores, and broken bones, while the stress leads to abnormal behaviours and psychological distress.

STOP ANIMAL ABUSE WITH EVERY MEAL
Hens and other animals feel pain and deserve to be protected from abuse.
You can protect these innocent animals by simply choosing plant‑based alternatives.
