What does 2046 look like for animals?
For 20 years, we’ve fought to end cruelty to animals. What do you hope the world looks like for animals 20 years from now?

Twenty years ago, Animal Equality started with a simple belief: animals deserve lives free from exploitation and suffering.
Since then, that belief has realised progress for animals, including a UK ban on exporting live animals abroad for slaughter, Mexico recognising animals as sentient beings in its Constitution, and Brazil becoming the first country in Latin America to ban foie gras production and imports by law.
None of that happened by accident. It happened because people imagined a different future for animals, and never stopped fighting for change.
So today, we’re asking you to do the same! This is your 20:20 vision – visualising the future you’re helping build for animals.
What’s your 20/20 vision?

Twenty years in, we’ve learned the future for animals isn’t given, it’s won. It’s built – one law, one investigation, one corporate policy, one vision at a time.

Save animals, eat plant based
As a consumer, you hold the power to protect animals from the meat industry. Every plant-based meal saves animals from a life of misery in factory farms and slaughterhouses.
