Call your local Marriott
Marriott International runs over 10,000 hotels in 146 countries, as one of the largest hotel giants in the world.
In 2018, it made a promise: that the hens behind its eggs would no longer be confined to cages, anywhere in its global operations, by 2025.
That deadline has passed. Marriott broke its word, and millions of hens are still crammed into cages too small to spread their wings because of it.
Marriott broke its promise to animals

Hens are still being crammed into cages today that Marriott promised to get rid of.
Now, Marriott need to hear from us.
Cage-free is certainly not cruelty-free, but Marriott must not be allowed to continue profiting from broken promises to animals.
A way to hold them accountable is to call a Marriott hotel close to where you live and politely make your voice heard.
Before you call, please have a look at our advice and suggestion for a script to stay polite while advocating for animals!

Advice on what you can say
Now it’s time to make our call! It’s important that, when speaking to the person on the other end, that we are clear about why we are calling:
Marriott’s broken promise to animals.
❗Note: Remember that the person you will be talking to is just a member of staff, and is not responsible for the broken promises of Marriott executives.
Please be mindful to remain polite and treat them with respect at all times, and do not belittle, insult, or harass them in any way.

Defend hens and chicks
Each chicken has less than the space of a single sheet of A4 paper to live in on a typical UK egg farm. You can save chickens from a life of misery by replacing eggs in your meals with plant-based alternatives.
