Many Cities, One Demand
Across Europe and around the globe – from London and São Paulo to New York and Jakarta – people are taking a stand to hold Marriott to account. Week after week, demonstrations gather outside Marriott hotels and head offices, reminding the company that the world hasn’t looked away.
The message could not be clearer: justice for animals cannot wait any longer. Until Marriott acts decisively, the pressure will keep building.
The Hidden Cost of Eggs:
What Happens Inside the Cage
Hens kept in battery cages face a lifetime of relentless suffering. These cages are so widely condemned that they have already been outlawed across the European Union – though so-called ‘enriched’ cages, cruel in their own right, remain legal.
A battery cage is a cramped wire enclosure offering each hen less room than a single sheet of A4 paper. Confined like this, a bird cannot walk, extend her wings, or carry out natural behaviours such as nesting or dust-bathing.
The consequences are severe: feather loss, open wounds and fractured bones, alongside the mental toll of constant stress, which drives distressed and abnormal behaviour.

Protect Animals at Every Mealtime
Hens – like all animals – feel pain, and they deserve to live free from abuse.
The simplest way to shield these innocent creatures is to reach for plant-based options instead.
