New Compassionate Outreach Campaign!
BIG NEWS! Here at Animal Equality we are thrilled to announce our brand new Compassionate Outreach Campaign!
The Compassionate Outreach Campaign will promote the most effective forms of veg advocacy, aiming to prevent and reduce animal suffering in factory farms, which now accounts for more than 90 percent of all farmed animals raised and slaughtered in the United Kingdom.
The first campaign we are launching is ‘Animal Equality On Campus’. Animal advocates will be handing out our new Veg Booklet to students at universities.
Did you know that? In one hour of leafleting, you can save 50 animals or more! People become vegetarian or vegan everyday as a result of receiving a booklet — you can be the one making that happen!
We know that, on average, students are considerably more likely to become vegetarian than non-students. While most universities do have animal related groups, many are not highly active. We cannot afford to allow the great opportunity of targeting university students pass simply because we are no longer attending higher education ourselves. Statistically, If every university in the country were leafleted for one hour tomorrow, there would be thousands of new vegetarians overnight!
A great thing about using this approach is that anyone can do it. At the right time and place, just one person can hand out hundreds of booklets in less than an hour.
Our goal is to hand out 100,000 booklets this year 2014. Do you want to help us and make a difference for animals? If so, please get in contact with us by sending an email to JaneL@AnimalEquality.net or filling out the form below.
